Feb 12 TAX TIP TUESDAY: Mileage Rates for 2019

Mileage rates for travel have been updated for 2019. The standard business mileage rate as of January 1st is 58 cents per mile (up from 54.5 cents in 2018).

The medical and moving mileage rates also increase by 2 cents to 20 cents per mile. Charitable mileage rates remain unchanged at 14 cents per mile.

Remember to properly document your mileage to receive full credit for miles driven.
